Kornit Q2 revenues down on 2023 S


econd quarter revenues for Kornit Digital were down from $56.2 million (£43.8 million) in Q2 of 2023 to $48.6 million (£37.9 million).


Although in line with previous guidance, this drop was attributed to lower systems revenues.

Fairtrade publishes its 2023 annual report F


airtrade has released its 2023 annual report, with the disclosure of one of the areas being of focus in 2025 being to continue to explore ways of generating more sales for producers and deepening impact.


The report outlines the company’s plan to develop services which support companies and producers to make progress on sustainability goals and its publishing of its first-of-its-kind Living Wage Reference Prices for four banana producing countries, including: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Peru.


Statistics covered in the report include 56 externally funded projects being active in 2023, 950+ Fairtrade coffee and cocoa cooperatives now being able to access deforestation risk monitoring through Satelligence partnership, and Fairtrade ambassadors and other experts speaking at 15 sessions at COP28. Additionally, the Fairtrade Child Labour and Forced Labour Prevention and Remediation Programme was launched with €450K.


In other news, this year, Fairtrade is celebrating 30 years since the first Fairtrade certified products hit supermarket shelves in the UK.

Behind Fairtrade, more than two million farmers and workers from 58 countries have been working towards suppling chain partners with brands of tea, coffee and chocolate. According to the company, through its building of a community of millions, Fairtrade farmers have managed to secure a fairer price for what they grow and workers have been able to improve their living standards.

At drupa earlier in the year, Kornit announced that customers could now acquire the Apollo system under an all-inclusive click charge model that requires no up-front capital investment. In return, customers commit to print a minimum number of clicks with payment due to the manufacturer after the printed product is sold.


Kornit also reported a loss of $1.6 million (£1.25 million), in terms of adjusted EBITDA, for the three months to June 30 – an improvement on Q2 in 2023 when the loss stood at $10.7 million (£8.35 million). For the third quarter of 2024, Kornit expects revenues to be in the range of $48 million (£37.2 million) to $52 million (£40.3 million).
