Rannerdale Knitwear with an advantage
Knitwear specialists Mike Carden and Ian Pollard of Rannerdale continue to offer a wide range of styles to the trade.
In addition to standard items such as stock corporate and school knitwear, they supply bespoke knitwear styles for a range of markets. This includes bespoke Christmas sweaters, scarves and hats. Mike says: “We have supplied some very different industries and associations with bespoke Christmas knitted sweaters in the past. Time is short for this year, so contact us straightaway if we can help!”
Mike believes that there will continue to be a demand for bespoke corporatewear through the winter, as businesses seek to distinguish themselves from competitors in tough times, and that those styles can and will include knitwear. Mike and Ian work with Flamingo Apparel Textiles on corporate knitwear, with eastern Europe providing the manufacturing.
Mike adds: “Quantities can be surprisingly low for bespoke manufacturing and lead times usually short when using eastern Europe rather than further east. That can be an advantage, with most customers not wanting to wait extended periods for larger deliveries.”
