What’s New: Doro Tape UK

Turbo charge your business with a new printable textile film

Doro Tape has recently launched a new printable textile film that will boost productivity while still retaining the best customer service.

D

garments, the use of digital print in this sector has really taken off in recent years. Good business can be made from producing short run printed designs and logos for work wear, team sport wear, school and club wear; to mention but a few. Now with the introduction of the new Image Flex Turbo 4036, a Poli-Tape film supplied in the UK through Doro Tape, this process is even speedier and cheaper to produce.

Special details Whatʼs really special about Turbo Print is the speed and temperature of heat pressing. At a press temperature of 160°C, pressing time is only three seconds. This cuts down dramatically on the application time, improving both productivity and profitability. Plus, the Turbo Print can be applied at a press temperature as low as 130°C, making it ideal for use on delicate fabrics such as nylon. Turbo Print 4036 offers a high print resolution with a matt finish and a pleasant soft textile touch. This film is suitable for transfer to textiles such as cotton, polyester, uncoated nylon, plus polyester/cotton and polyester/ acrylic. In addition, its special top coating offers excellent washing-resistance. Both embroidery and DTG printing have their role to play in producing short runs, but so does heat pressed digital printed graphics. In fact, for smaller full colour logos on workwear or sportswear for instance, using this system is probably the quickest and cheapest way to produce them. With the comparatively low investment of a heat press and digital printer, such as the Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20, graphics can be printed and applied to almost all types of textile garments with ease.
