If you use spray adhesive, your press is no doubt covered in a fine layer of gunk where every dust and lint particle for miles around has made themselves comfy on that lovely layer of glue. Not only is it unsightly but it can and will eventually impede the operation of your press unless you meticulously clean it daily. Even then you will find the glue has boldly gone where no man can clean properly. Also remember that the dust bunnies that live so happily in the nooks and crannies of your shop are highly flammable when you use spray adhesive and every person in your shop is breathing the toxic fumes every single day. So what is a screen printer to do? A simple move from spray adhesive to water-based adhesive solves the problem instantly and will save you bags of cash in the process as it goes a lot further. Water- based pallet adhesive is tough enough to hold all apart from fleecewear (Dalesway suggests web adhesive for this) and can easily be revived when it gets fuzzed-up during a print run using nothing more than a bit of water in a spray bottle. Dalesway suggests the use of its Pallet Masking Tape together with Hydrotenax Water Based Pallet Adhesive.
