AJS has five engineers based in the Nottingham office, as well as five official resellers with support in regional offices in Balbriggan (North County Dublin), Cowdenbeath (Scotland), Northampton, Faringdon (Oxfordshire) and Newport in Gwent (Wales). AJSʼ staff and associates have an accumulative knowledge of the garment decoration business of over 300 years making the company a force to be reckoned with. GEMfix rhinestone and cutting machines Tajiservi, which manufactures the GEMfix and cutting machines, also started back in 1994 as the Tajima agent in Santo Tirso Portugal. It developed its own engineering department, has designed and built many machines related to and specially made to aid the garment decorator.
Tajima embroidery machines AJSʼ main product is the Tajima embroidery machine. Tajima, which started in 1944, has been manufacturing machines by the Tajima family in Japan since 1964. Since the first machine Tajima manufactured it has led the industry in innovation and design right up to the present day. Tajima has designed over 3,000 models of machine and distributed to over 100 countries worldwide.
As well as embroidery machines AJS also supplies Pulse Software, GEMfix Rhinestone, Seit Laser and Coloreel thread printing machinery.
