Inspiring garment decorators for 30 years


Earlier this year more than 6,000 people attended Printwear & Promotion LIVE!’s 30th anniversary at the NEC in Birmingham – that’s 300 more visitors attending in 2019 than in 2018. We asked those who attended for their thoughts and opinions on the annual exhibition and here is the outcome.


Q How satisfied were you with your visit to Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2019?


We could not be more happier with the result of this question – more than 89% of respondents were either extremely satisfied or very satisfied with their visit to Printwear & Promotion LIVE! Thatʼs an increase of 9% from 2018. This fantastic result demonstrates that visitors to the

Q Do you prefer the show taking place in January


In 2018 Printwear & Promotion LIVE! was moved to January. Last year we asked if moving the exhibition forward by a month made it easier for visitors to attend and the result revealed that 90% of those surveyed said the change in date either made it easier to attend the event or made no difference at all.


So, this year we decided to ask if our visitors preferred the exhibition taking place in either January or February and the

resounding answer was that nearly half of respondents said they had no preference (45%). Over a third of respondents (38%) said they preferred the show taking place in January, while the remaining respondents (17%) said they preferred the show taking place in February.

compares to 70% last year. Sourcing new suppliers has been the most prominent reason why our visitors attend for the last three years, suggesting that with over 150 suppliers in one place attending an exhibition makes it easy to source a new supplier.


Over 70% of respondents said they use the exhibition to meet with existing suppliers, again suggesting that the exhibition provides a great place to maintain current working relationships.
