Focus on Digital Printing Graphtec GB

Access cost-effective print and cut solutions

By coupling a budget-priced digital printer with a relatively inexpensive digital cutter supplied by Graphtec GB, manufacturers of leisure and sportswear, accessories and promotional products have access to an extremely cost-effective print and cut solution.

The latest CE7000-40 plotter/ cutter in the company’s high performance-to-cost CE series of machines is a popular choice of manufacturers and in particular for applications involving heat transfer materials. Designed for high-volume commercial output, the CE7000-40 will handle materials in a width of up to 560mm. Key production-enhancing features include the latest Version 8 of Graphtec’s proprietary ARMS (Advanced Registration Mark Sensing) optical print and cut detection system for optimum plotting/cutting accuracy, a USB interface, LCD touchscreen and 2MB buffer systems and an advanced barcode function to enable multiple job processing without operator intervention.

CE7000-40

The CE7000-40, in common with many of the machines supplied by Graphtec GB, is supported with Graphtec Pro Studio and optional Cutting Master 4 design and production software as standard, with plug-ins for CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator compatibility. Graphtec GB also supplies a wide range of consumables and heat transfer machines sourced from leading manufacturers, including heat transfer materials in matt, gloss and embossed printable formats and with flocked, brushed metallic, iridescent/reflective, carbon fibre and ‘glow in the dark’ among the most popular finishes available. For small start-up companies and/ or home-based craft enthusiasts and hobbyists, Graphtec GB supplies the latest Silhouette Cameo 4 small-format desktop digital cutter that is particularly ideal for heat transfer applications. This cutter has design features normally found on much larger and more expensive machines and includes the Graphtec ARMS Version 8 system. It is supplied as standard with dedicated Silhouette design and production software.
