manager celebrates 30 years at BTC activewear

P

hil Roberts has celebrated three decades of working at BTC activewear.

What started as a potential summer job in 1994 has seen Mr Roberts work his way up the ranks to become national sales manager. Neil Pitcher, MD, said: “Working alongside Phil for the last 20 years has been a blast, from our first business trip to Portugal in 2004, a few away-days at PSI in Düsseldorf, many many P&P LIVE! trade shows in Birmingham, and delivering countless sales projects together... it’s always been with a smile on our face. Someone once described Phil to me as the ‘glue that holds the sales team together’ and I couldn’t agree more. I’m delighted Phil has remained a solid part of our team and I hope he continues to be a key member of the team for our exciting future. 30 years is huge. Thank You Phil.”

Mr Roberts added: “I can’t believe it’s been 30 years! From starting off selling a few tees and sweats, not having a clue what I was doing (some say I still don’t) to where we are now, I truly believe I am a part of one of the best teams in the industry and that’s what keeps every day fresh, new and looking forward to exciting times ahead.”
