Resolute
Still retaining a soft DTF light feel Resolute’s latest DTF development combats dye migration and show through on polyester sportswear.
R-Jet PRO DTF V8i
In order to eliminate show through, a new method of ink layering is used in the print process, made possible by custom written printer software and a modifi ed R-Jet PRO DTF V8i. This DTF system produces a much denser base with similar opacity to cut vinyl, eliminating any show through prior to pressing the transfer, but still retaining a soft DTF light feel. Dye migration normally occurs in the heat press process, this can be instant or show itself a few days after being pressed. Using a modifi ed R-Jet PRO DTF V8i system, the adhesive application process now creates a third blocking layer. The transfers are pressed for just three seconds at low temperature but still retain DTF’s durability in the wash. The new system will have a similar price tag to a standard R-Jet PRO DTF V8i, although the size of the system is slightly smaller.
