New live FESPA virtual event series helps printers get fit for recovery

ESPA has introduced FIT – FESPA Innovations and Trends, a new series of live virtual events aimed at helping printers plan effectively for their business recovery.


The new interactive live online events are each themed around a particular area of technology and applications, giving visitors a focused environment in which to engage with new products and


explore trends. The first event focusing on wide format printing took place in May. The second event focusing on printed clothing will take place on June 9 and 10. The event will focus on the textile printing and garment decoration sector, covering DTG printing, screen printing, software and materials.

Bella+Canvas appoints new COO


N


orm Hullinger has been named as Bella+Canvas’ chief operating officer.


Most recently, Mr Hullinger was CEO at alphabroder, one of the largest wholesale apparel distributors in the US promotional products industry, a role he held since 2012. Before becoming CEO, Mr Hullinger served as alphabroder’s COO for 10 years, following a career that included executive roles at both technology and retail companies.


Bella+Canvas has seen growth in recent years, requiring investments to expand its global operating infrastructure. In the past 12 months, the company has added operations in five countries, expanded its Los Angeles cutting facility, and added a 750,000sq ft distribution centre on the East Coast to support its wholesale distribution partners. Mr Hullinger said: “My relationship with Bella+Canvas goes back nearly 15 years, and I’ve admired what the company and team has accomplished both as a partner and as an industry disruptor.
