Extended gamut latex printer drives new revenue streams Ricoh’s Pro L5160e large format latex printer is designed for demanding production environments that
require high-speed systems capable of producing both durable outdoor signage and high-resolution indoor graphics.
Helping signage producers to expand their business horizons and revenue streams, the Ricoh Pro L5160e can handle a wide variety of indoor and outdoor substrates, including pressure-sensitive vinyl, banner, canvas, paper, backlit/ clear fi lms and textiles.
Producing vibrant colours, high opacity whites and dense blacks, the Ricoh Pro L5160e supports media widths of up to 1,625mm. Printing at speeds up to 46.7sq m/hr, it enables businesses to keep pace with tight deadlines and seasonal demand.
Ricoh’s latex inks dry instantly, enabling output from the Pro L5160e to be handled immediately. The GREENGUARD- certifi ed inks are virtually odourless and require no ventilation, making them a safe choice for operators, customers and the environment.
Ricoh’s patented variable-drop ink technology delivers razor sharp text, natural skin tones and smooth colour gradations. And with white ink fl ooding the background, it is easy produce high impact graphics on clear and coloured media. In addition to the standard fi ve-colour (CMYK plus white)
confi guration, Ricoh offers the Pro L5160e in a six-colour (CMYK plus orange and green) confi guration. Ricoh’s orange and green inks expand the colour palette and enable brand colours to be reproduced accurately.

European Digital Press (EDP) Association, who recently judged the Ricoh Pro L5160e extended gamut latex printer winner in its roll-to-roll printers up to 170cm category.
