Focus on Menswear
Six new colours for bestselling collection Colour update at Russell Europe: the inventor of the
sweatshirt launches fi ve high-fashion trend colours and a classic sport heather tone this month. The new colours are used for two bestselling items in the successful Authentic Sweats Collection. Three of the new trend colours are available as jog pants – perfect for those up-and-coming tone-on-tone looks. The fi ve new trend colours for Russell Europe are part of the so-called New Basics; these nuances have already been established in classic fashion retail for quite a while:
• Mocha: There is a reason why coffee colours are a fi xture in the styling pages of fashion magazines. Mocha is a perfect brown shade: not too dark, not too intense. A beautiful, subdued mid-brown.
• Urban grey: The light, clean grey shade is minimalist, straight-forward, hip – the perfect choice for a high-quality, timeless and style-assured appearance be this on the job or at leisure.
• Olive: The natural, slightly subdued green shade comes across as relaxed and harmonious – a beautiful, classic
colour for dressed-up looks. Olive is slightly lighter than the existing dark olive in the Pure Organic Collection thereby extending Russell Europe’s colour portfolio to include a nuance enjoying growing popularity for years now that can be coordinated in versatile ways.
• Mineral blue: A subdued, pleasantly reserved light blue that appears fresh without being too obtrusive. Both men and women cut a fi ne high-fashion fi gure in this stylish colour.
• Indigo blue: Not too dark, not too pale – this blue is just right! A fashionable mid-blue that can be stylishly co-ordinated with many colours and which has all it takes to become the absolute favourite colour.
Russell Europe’s colour update is completed by sport heather, a classic tone from the sport segment and the darker version of the existing light Oxford.
The new, contemporary colours are available for the timeless bestsellers of the Authentic Sweats Collection for men: the Authentic Sweat 262M and the Authentic Hooded Sweat 265M. Both these items score points with a timeless silhouette, modern design and high-quality yarn. Offered in sizes XS to 3XL they are ideal for private labelling and long-lived, comfortable team outfi ts.
To allow the new colours to also be worn in this monochrome all-over look, Russell Europe now offers the Authentic Jog Pants 268M in three of the fi ve trend colours. The high-end jog pants are being launched in mineral blue, urban grey and olive thereby perfectly matching the two sweat tops in the new shades. The pants are offered in sizes S to 2XL.
