Durst invests €20m in new textile printing hub

urst Group has started work on a new €20 million facility dedicated to textile printing. The new centre will be built in Como, a place renowned for Italy’s textile district and underlines the company’s long-term ambitions in growing the textile decoration market.
The new Durst Como hub will focus on the development of inkjet technologies, software, applied research and advanced digital textile printing solutions. The investment follows Durst’s acquisition of inkjet specialist Aleph, which has now been fully integrated into the business, and forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its position in industrial textile printing. technology, built here, for the world.” The new facility will become Durst’s third development and production site and is expected to play a key role in the company’s fashion and home textile activities.
New UV hard ink from Roland DG R
oland DG has expanded its UV printing portfolio with the launch of EUV-H, a new industrial-grade UV hard ink. Compatible with the company’s existing MO Series printers, as well as forthcoming industrial systems including the RC-300 cylindrical printer and IO-300 flatbed printer, EUV-H has been developed to provide improved scratch, chemical and weather resistance across a range of rigid substrates. A newly developed primer
ink also enhances adhesion on difficult-to-print materials, enabling users to produce more durable output for applications such as promotional products, packaging, electronics and industrial components.

Durst said it has invested more than €50 million over the past 12 years and is targeting a doubling of the group’s revenues within the next five years, supported by continued growth in digital textile printing technologies.
Gildan releases Q2 financial results

ildan Activewear has announce its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with senior executives set to discuss the company’s performance during an investor conference call.
The apparel manufacturer released its financial and operating results on July 30 before markets open, followed by a webcast and conference call. The session featured president and CEO Glenn Chamandy, executive vice president and CFO Luca Barile, executive vice president and chief commercial officer Chuck Ward.
At the time of writing, the webcast had not yet been undertaken.
Gildan is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of everyday basic apparel, supplying activewear, underwear and socks to wholesale distributors, screen printers, garment decorators and retailers worldwide.
