Focus on Print & Embroidery Consumables Screen Print World
Solving your heat problems Polyester and blended fabrics are everywhere right now – and for good reason. They’re lightweight, durable, and exactly what a huge range of customers want. But for screen printers, they come with a catch.
Heat is the enemy. Push your cure temperature too high on a poly or poly-blend garment, and you risk dye migration bleeding through your print, shrinkage distorting the fi t, and heat damage that no amount of reprinting can fi x. The natural response is to drop the temperature – but that creates a different problem. Most shops run more than one ink system, and not all of them cure at the same temperature. Suddenly you’re juggling settings, splitting production runs, and making compromises that slow everything down. That’s a workfl ow problem as much as a technical one. And it’s exactly what the UltraMix 7500 Series Pantone Mixing System is built to solve.
As Part of the FlexCure technology platform, UltraMix 7500 inks cure across a wide range of temperatures – from135°C to all the way up to165°C. That fl exibility means printers aren’t locked into a single cure temperature across every job. You can bring the heat down for a delicate polyester without pulling that ink out of rotation entirely, and run it alongside your standard-cure systems without needing to restructure your whole production process.
The result is a shop that runs more smoothly. Fewer compromises. Less downtime between jobs. More confi dence that the print coming off the dryer – whether it’s on a 100% poly performance T shirt or a 50/50 blend – is going to look exactly the way it should.
