If you’re looking to streamline your production, this Mimaki machine also features automated inline lamination, and no weeding is required in the process. This year, Xpres has also launched their new Evolution UV fi lm range, providing everything you need to get started. Film A and Film B are used in conjunction with each other to print and laminate UV designs, producing a sticker-like transfer, ready to place onto your products.
Epson’s expansion into high productivity DTF
Epson’s new DTF SureColor G9000 printer is their fi rst high-productivity printer, designed for high-volume production using a large print head with symmetrical nozzle arrangement over two rows, enabling detailed, high-quality transfers at speed. Designed with the user in mind, this printer reduces downtime with 1.6L ink pouches and a self-replaceable printhead to maximise production without the need for service call-outs.
Compatible with media from 300mm to 1,624mm wide, the SC-G9000 also features a built-in front heater which improves drying and enables printing onto a wider range of media. Complete with the Epson Fiery Digital Factory software and Epson EdgePrint RIPs, you have reliable and effi cient DTF printing.
Advancing in print & cut Also, brand new for 2026, Roland’s wide-format print and cut VG4 series is built for consistent, high-quality output and reliable day-to-day operation. Perfect for signage and specialised projects such as fl oor stickers, banners and window and wall graphics, the VG4 range offers effortless versatility.
The latest print head technology combined with eco-solvent TR3 inks, the VG4 lets you tailor your applications, from Dual CMYK for high productivity to expanded ink sets of up to eight colours for richer colour, smoother gradients, and more accurate brand matching with TR3 confi gurations including a new red option, alongside orange, green, light black, and high-opacity white for standout graphics. Benefi ting from lower running costs, Roland’s improved ink effi ciency supports lower consumption, while production-focused features help maintain stability during continuous work. This new range also introduces workfl ow improvements for consistent production on longer print or print & cut runs. Engineered with the user in mind, the new series reduces operational steps, allowing you to select and start print jobs directly from the printer’s 7in touchscreen using the new Direct Print feature, whilst the Roland DG Connect adds remote support features, helping keep the printer running smoothly and reducing downtime. Available in two different sizes, the VG4-540 has a maximum cutting width of 1,346mm, while the VG4-640 offers a 1,600mm width.
