Supplier Profile: B&C Collection

Proud to be B Corp Proud to be B&C

B&C has always stood for more than just quality blank apparel. But now, it’s official: the brand is a Certified B Corporation, part of a global movement of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

F

or customers, that means more than a new logo on the B&C website. It means that when you choose B&C, you’re buying from a brand that has been independently verified for its commitment to people, planet and progress.

Why B Corp? Why now? The B Corp movement is growing fast, there are now more than 2,000 Certified B Corporations in the UK – from household names to niche suppliers – and it’s one of the most active B Corp hubs worldwide. For B&C, becoming a B Corp is a reflection of how it has been doing business – and where it is determined to go next. Certification wasn’t handed out lightly. B&C was independently verified against a rigorous 200-point framework and scored 99 – well above the threshold. So, what got B&C there?

Actions, not promises

B&C’s score was earned through real, measurable change. Here are just a few of the steps that helped the brand qualify: • Better materials: In 2023, B&C replaced 100% of its conventional cotton with Better Cotton, switched all virgin polyester to certified recycled polyester, and continued investing in in-conversion cotton to support the shift towards organic farming.

• Transparency by design: Through B&C’s partnership with Fairly Made, the brand is adding traceability to its collections. So customers know exactly where their garments come from, who made them, and with what impact.

• People first: B&C has launched worker and community-led initiatives in Bangladesh, where many of its garments are made – supporting education, healthcare access, and wellbeing initiatives in partnership with local suppliers.

• Real climate action: With sustainability platform Plan A, B&C is tracking its emissions across the full value chain and

building a carbon reduction strategy rooted in primary data, not estimates.

• Mission-locked: B&C’s social and environmental commitments are written into the company’s legal structure. It’s not just marketing, it’s a mandate.

Why it should matter to you As a buyer, you face pressure from all sides: end customers asking tougher questions, sustainability audits, tighter CSR goals. Choosing B&C helps tick all those boxes without compromising on design, choice or price.

You get full-range blank collections with trend-right fits and deep colour options. You get peace of mind from certified sourcing. And you get to partner with a brand that’s committed to improving – not just for one season, but long-term.

The B Corp certification applies to the whole business, not just a product or collection. That means whether you’re sourcing polos, sweatshirts or outerwear, you’re working with a supplier that meets B Corp standards from factory floor to finished garment.

Not the finish line

B Corp isn’t where B&C’s journey ends – it’s how the brand holds itself accountable. It’s a way to benchmark, measure, and improve year after year. Every certified B Corp must

recertify every three years, and the bar is rising. B&C welcomes that.

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about proving progress, transparently. And inviting customers to be part of that journey.

So, what’s next?

B&C has continued to expand its sustainable collections – including investing in Better Cotton for all cotton-based styles, launching a range of outerwear made from 100% recycled materials, and ensuring all sweatshirts are made with certified recycled polyester. All B&C’s styles are built for responsible branding, and every new development builds on the foundation that helped the brand become a B Corp. Because in the end, it’s simple: when you buy from B&C, you’re not just ordering a blank garment. You’re choosing to work with a brand that stands for something – and proves it.

B&C is proud to be a B Corp. Proud to be building something better. And proud to do it with you.
