Roland DG introduces two VersaSTUDIO printers T


he BN2-30 and BD-12 are the latest additions to Roland


DG’s VersaSTUDIO series of compact, easy-to-use and affordable products.


The BN2-30 eco-solvent integrated printer/cutter with a maximum material width of 736mm (30in), and the BD-12 UV direct-to-object printer for items up to A4 size both feature vibrant, detailed printing, plus work areas expanded over current models, enabling increased productivity and profitability. Both the BN2-30 and BD-12 are equipped with print heads that produce high-definition output and offer multiple print modes ideal for different applications, making it easy for anyone to achieve professional print results. Ryugo Nimura, president of global sales and marketing at Roland DG, said: “The BN2-30 and BD-12 enable anyone, including entrepreneurs, companies bringing


out-sourced production in-house, educational institutions committed to STEAM education practices, and even those who have never used printers before to unleash their creativity and easily produce a wide variety of items.

The printers come standard with FlexiDESIGNER VersaSTUDIO Edition software, which can be used for everything from design creation to printing, as well as VersaWorks 7, the latest output software with improved usability and support for both Windows and macOS. Roland DG Connect is also available. It includes proactive support to help prevent errors and contributes to an effi cient and profi table business.
