In a new Corporate Social Responsibility brochure, Vanilla has reaffirmed its commitment to reducing its social and environmental impact. The ultimate goal is to produce quality fashion basics that lasts. Why? Because greater inherent quality and durability means fewer garments manufactured and ultimately going to landfill.

ow many times have you been assured that something is ‘good enough’ only to be left disappointed? Vanilla does things differently. The 2024 Vanilla collection features garments that all have a good design that are built to last.
Its designers take a holistic approach to design, considering each detail of a garment’s construction to ensure optimum printability and durability without compromising style and comfort.
• Cartons are reused. Any old or damaged cartons and cardboard are shredded to be reused as packaging in the UK warehouse.
• Care labels are 100% recycled fabric. • It never ships by air, only using sea freight. Vanilla also only ever ships full cartons to make shipping more efficient.
• The UK headquarters now has solar panels installed to power the office and warehouse.
• Sample garments are donated to local charities and fabric samples are offered to schools and craft groups.
• The lighting in Vanilla’s UK headquarters is motion sensitive to reduce energy usage. Every component, from fabric to interfacing, every button, zip and label, even the thread, is Oeko-Tex certified. The Standard 100 certification tests for harmful substances in garments. Compliance ensures Vanilla products contain no harmful chemicals for the people wearing it. Every single garment is 100% compliant with Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

How is Vanilla reducing its impact? • Single use polybags are made from 100% recycled plastic.
• Brown craft cartons are made from card which is 70% recycled. Vanilla has also removed plastic strapping from the cartons.

There is an exciting new addition to the Vanilla range for 2024 with the VAN108 Core Tee. The VAN108 weighs in at 180gsm, offering a midweight alternative to our bestselling VAN106. VAN108 is made from the same great quality fabric in the same great fit, the only difference is the weight.
The new Core Tee offers the best make-up in its class and represents superb value. Crafted from ring spun, semi combed cotton, its features include side seams for enhanced fit, improved washability and easier decoration alignment, as well as a tear out label, making it the perfect tee for personalisation.
Designed with a contemporary regular fit and unisex styling, the VAN108 is available in sizes XS to 6XL and comes in eight
colours. Size chips have also been added to the back neck for easier rebranding.
VAN233 Cotton Faced Hoodie Another highlight of the 2024 range is the VAN233 Cotton Faced Hoodie, the perfect choice for year-round layering. The 100% cotton face provides a superior printing surface and serves as the ideal canvas for DTG printing.

Made from 280gsm, 80% cotton 20% polyester fabric, the hoodie features a self- colour jersey lined hood, jersey binding to back neck, self-fabric full needle rib double layered cuff and welt, flat lace drawcord running through hood and a central kangaroo pocket with double stitching for durability. Available in eight colours in sizes XXS to 4XL.
