Supplier Profile: Resolute

Revolutionising customer experience

Since moving into its brand-new custom-built facility, the Resolute team has created a new customer experience.

Resolute’s brand-new custom-built facility

CNC cutting heads on the new R-Jet FB7010

custom packaging saving a small fortune on off the shelf flat pack boxes. Since the addition of these two models, Resolute now produces all its own custom packaging in-house. This reduces waste and allows it to produce boxes that fit the product exactly, cutting down on the risk of goods in transit being damaged and reducing its carbon footprint.

W

hether you are looking for a new cap press or a fully automated

high speed direct to film system with in-line automated cutting, Resolute’s new showroom provides the space to demonstrate its full range of equipment under one shiny new roof.

The new warehouse area has also allowed the company to increase its consumables stock levels, this now stands at over 100 tons.

The extra capacity means Resolute can offer the widest range of DTF consumables in the UK, with no less than three DTF textile inks, three types of adhesive powder and a whopping eight different types of DTF textile films in over five different sizes.

R-Jet PRO DTF UV

Its water-based DTF transfer and UV systems have also had a facelift: the popular small and compact R-Jet PRO DTF UVi now has a big brother. The new high-speed R-Jet PRO DTF UV 60cm version is being put through its paces in Resolute’s production showroom ready for its official launch at The Print Show 2024. This new DTF UV printer has been designed with production printing in mind, with three offset print heads delivering white, CMYK and clear varnish in high resolution at high speed.

To keep the systems footprint as small as possible it is fitted with air cooled LED UV lamps so there are no cooling liquids circulating through the printer and no chiller unit to maintain.

Cutting through DTF films, both water-based and UV, is something Resolute knows a lot about. Since introducing its first single tool flatbed cutter two years ago, it has continued to develop and increase its range which now stands at no less than five different cutter models, two of which include routing capabilities for sign makers.

R-Jet FB1 and FB2 cutters The R-Jet FB1 and FB2 cutters offer a small self-contained footprint, capable of cutting off-line as a standalone unit or in-line connected to the DTF printer, meaning a single operator can run the entire process from start to finish. Keeping the UV60’s footprint small is also made possible by a new 60cm roll fed cutter, also due to launch in September. The printer can feed directly into the cutter and is driven by the Resolute RIP making the end to end process a seamless process.

New for 2024 are two advanced flatbed cutters, available in two sizes starting with a cutting area of 70cmx100cm going up to 1.2mx1.6m.

Both cutters offer CNC routing, oscillating blades, drag knife and many more versatile cutting tools. The new cutters are also equipped with automatic laser tool height detection and auto sheet feeders capable of feeding anything from simple thin card to heavy duty corrugated sheets. All the usual features like QR code scanning, roll feeding system etc with the icing on the cake being a single colour inkjet head for variable data carton marking.

These new cutters not only zip through DTF transfers, they can also produce

New range of heat presses Also new in 2024 is Resolute’s new range of heat presses, comprising of three different models.

The smallest being a semi-automatic cap press which comes with two interchangeable platens: a flat heat plate and base for applying small logos to sleeves and neck labels etc, and a traditional curved cap platen with rubber base and cap tensioner. Next up is a semi-automatic single platen press with a 40cmx50cm horseshoe sliding platen allowing for easy loading and unloading of the garment.

This single platen heat press is supplied with its own stand, with its large locking wheels making it an easy item to move around the office without lifting. Finally, Resolute’s twin platen pneumatic heat press. This larger press has two 40cmx50cm platens and is supplied on its own stand meaning it can also be moved around easily without lifting. It is also supplied with its own compressor included in the price and laser alignment. So, as you can see, apart from already supplying three of the most popular DTF transfer systems with over 450 UK installations, Resolute also has the full range of finishing equipment to streamline the process from start to finish. If you are researching DTF or thinking of upgrading, a trip to the new Resolute HQ is a well worth visit.
