ProSlide-powered expansion opens at Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai
Philip Baker, VP business development MENA, ProSlide Technology details the company’s involvement in the world’s most anticipated water park expansion, Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai Phase 3.

eaturing ProSlide’s most innovative and advanced water ride technology, Aquaventure opened 17 iconic ProSlide water rides for this world-leading expansion, including two state-of- the-art water park towers, a new WaterKINGDOM featuring the world’s first KidzADVENTURE TowerTM, and multiple high-performance ProSlide Water Coasters, including MammothBLAST™, the world’s first and longest family rafting Water Coaster - Shockwave.
An industry leader in water ride design, technology, and manufacturing, ProSlide had already worked with Atlantis in the past, and Philip says they were “grateful for the opportunity to once again work with the park and its project team of global industry professionals, to help them

to realize their amazing vision for this extremely significant expansion project.”
Having increased the park’s size by a third with game changing rides and experiences, “Atlantis Aquaventure sets a new water park standard for Dubai, the Middle East, and the world,” says Philip.
The team started by looking at what kinds of rides were required in the park, alongside regional and global benchmarks. Philip explains, “We wanted to make sure all the rides offered a unique guest experience while significantly differentiating from anything else in the region. This meant making sure we were hitting the right demographics and with rides that featured the very latest ProSlide, cutting edge technologies so that
in 20/30 years’ time, they are still relevant and attracting guests time and time again.”
Trident Tower – World-Record Water Ride Complex
Towering over Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai is the park’s anchor attraction, the awe-inspiring Trident Tower. At 48-meters tall with 12 high-performance water rides the breathtaking structure commands the skyline of this world-leading water park. Anchoring the Tower is the world’s longest family rafting Water Coaster and first MammothBLAST Water Coaster – Shockwave, which according to Philip “is going to absolutely change family rafting rides”. He explains, “This is a thrilling, family adventure water ride design that combines
