Hotel Transylvania attraction opens at Dream Island Park, Moscow

ignalling the start of a measured return to business as usual, Legacy Entertainment has announced that Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park began resuming limited operations on 20March, after a short-term closure. The park


n anticipation of the upcoming release of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, the final chapter of the $1.3 billion film franchise from Sony Pictures Animation, Dream Island, an indoor theme park located in Moscow, has officially opened its new attraction “Hotel Transylvania.” Visitors can tour Dracula’s lavish resort and meet its unusual guests, starting by walking across a bridge over a foggy moat to enter the hotel’s lobby. There, they will meet Dracula, who will guide them through more than 10 locations.


“The attraction will be a worthy addition to our park. The work on the Hotel Transylvania theme area took more than three years, as we wanted to build a unique space for Russia, combining the latest technical and creative solutions to create a comedic horror experience suitable for the whole family,” said Ivan Scholl, technical director of Dream

Technically Creative completes Athens FEC project

Technically Creative, a York (UK) based integrated technology contractor that specialises in creating fully immersive interactive spaces, has just completed a family entertainment project over in Athens. The Xplore FEC just outside of the capital, completed the second phase of installation at the end of February, with the Technically Creative project spanning 5 months from September of last year. The family entertainment centre is


split into three sections, the “Exploratorium”, “Adventureland” and the “Aquarium”, all of which are majorly influenced by the creative flair of the Technically Creative Team. Thanks to Technically Creative, children and parents alike have the opportunity to play a Laser Harp, or a Giant Piano. They can design and service a car or race each other in the racing simulator. You can even feed virtual fish. There will also be a totally new

Danish theming firm MK Themed Attractions assisted UK family park Paultons Park in getting its brand-new themed area, Tornado Springs, ready for 12 April by producing and delivering customised props for the entire area. Paultons Parkʼs new themed area, Tornado Springs, has 8 new rides


and experiences, all with a heavy Midwestern US theme. The majority of the themed elements were produced and delivered by MK Themed Attractions. Guests will be immersed in the new area completed with themed signs, props, objects, and coasters, all telling the unique story of Tornado Springs.
