Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to re-open Junior Training Camp and Nello’s Adventureland
F
errari World Abu Dhabi is set to reopen two of the park’s most popular family attractions, the Junior Training Camp and Nello’s Adventureland. Both attractions will be open during the park’s operational hours on a first-come first-served basis at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing and frequent sanitisation.
Children aged seven and above can tackle different challenges at Ferrari speed with the Junior Training Camp experience. The vast play area is designed for children to advance their climbing agility and develop problem-solving skills in exciting Ferrari style. While the Hexagonal Tower’s will challenge older climbers to brave new heights, younger champions (with a minimum height of 140cm) can master their climbing technique on low suspension bridges. While children, aged 4 to 12, will love playing in the soft adventure play area created especially for younger children. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has worked alongside the relevant authorities to implement stringent precautionary measures throughout the park including mandatory online booking to ensure that the limited capacity is adhered to, wearing facemasks at all times, thermal screening cameras, safe distance markers at all rides and outlets, modified ride capacity as well as modified dining and shopping experiences. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was awarded the ‘Go Safe’ certification by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi). The programme aims to enforce global standards for safety and cleanliness across all tourism and retail establishments in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Busch Gardens to debut two shows
As Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida, continues to prioritise the health and safety of its guests, ambassadors and animals in its care, soon guests will be able to enjoy indoor world-class entertainment beginning Friday, May 28. From “Turn It Up!,” the park’s award-winning ice-skating production to an all-new acrobatic show, “Cirque Electric,” modified
operations in the park’s theatres will make it possible for guests to once again enjoy incredible shows as they explore Busch Gardens’ 300 acres of exhilarating rollercoasters and fascinating animal habitats. In addition to the park’s already strict health and safety measures, which include enhanced cleaning and sanitisation, temperature checks, and face
covering requirements, many modifications will be in place at Busch Gardens’ theatres upon reopening, including significantly limited capacity inside the parks’ expansive theatres to accommodate plenty of space between parties. They have staggered entering and exiting procedures to keep guests physically distant. Protective face coverings will be required by all guests, ambassadors and performers at all times, covering the nose and mouth. No eating or drinking will be permitted inside the theatres. Hand sanitising stations will be available at the entrance and exit points of the theatre. Finally, extensive sanitation of all seats will be conducted between shows. “Bringing more live entertainment safely back to the park is another huge step in returning to world class entertainment at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay,” said Neal Thurman, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Park President. “Since our reopening in June, our park teams have been incredibly innovative and adaptable with bringing our productions to life in new ways and we’re thrilled to expand our offering to include new programs in addition to fan-favourite shows.”
