Hot Ice returns to Blackpool Pleasure Beach

lackpool Pleasure Beach’s Hot Ice show returns for 2021 with a new show – Euphoria. It opens for the summer season on 8 July and will run until 11 September 2021. This year’s show is said to feature everything that is hot in ice skating with the very best performers from around the world taking to the ice in over 400 stunning costumes to a whole collection of mesmerising music, state-of-the-art lighting system and explosive pyrotechnic fire effects.
Hot Ice has always been the place to see the world’s best skaters. Numerous national, world and Olympic champions have performed in the show since its inception. This has made Hot Ice one of the world’s best known and most beloved ice skating shows with a reputation for
amazing choreography and stunning costumes.
This years’ new production ‘Euphoria’ is a “spectacular fast-moving live performance”, which promises to keep guests on the edge of their seats. Amanda Thompson OBE has been both producer and director of the Hot Ice Show for over 20 years. In 2005 she also took over as managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach and has managed to successfully combine the two major and demanding roles. The show is choreographed by former Olympic athlete and Hot Ice cast member Oula Jaaskelainen. Created by the Pleasure Beach Wardrobe Team, the show’s costumes “are undoubtedly the best you will see anywhere in the theatre world,” said a spokesperson.
DEAL 2021 announces virtual event this September
Due to the current global travel restrictions, International Expo Consults (IEC), the organiser of the DEAL exhibition has decided to host a virtual show in 2021. “This virtual show will enable all the registered exhibitors of DEAL 2021 to participate in the show and avail all the benefits of connecting with the buyers globally,” said a spokesperson. As several exhibitors from across the globe requested for this virtual edition, IEC has decided to host the show on 6, 7 and 8 September 2021.
More details on the virtual show will be shared directly with the exhibitors in the upcoming weeks and will also be announced on all DEAL social media channels.
