Convious achieves SOC 2 IT security compliance

A

ttractions management specialist Convious continues to raise data security and privacy standards for the industry by achieving SOC 2 Type I IT Security Compliance for its eCommerce ticketing platform. SOC 2 (Service Organisation Control 2) compliance is a rigorous process that validates a company's commitment to safeguarding sensitive customer information and ensuring the availability and security of data. By achieving SOC 2 compliance, Convious demonstrates its ability to protect customer data while delivering innovative eCommerce solutions. Convious's SOC 2 compliance journey involved an extensive evaluation of its security measures, processes, and controls. This comprehensive assessment was carried out by Conclude Accountants, a recognised authority in IT security compliance. The successful completion of this evaluation demonstrates Convious's proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring the safety of data shared across its platform.

Convious is also actively pursuing a higher level of compliance by working with external data protection specialists, Datentschutz Experte. de. One key component of this partnership is the Data Protection Impact Assessment which was completed by Convious in March earlier this year. Camiel Kraan, Convious CEO and founder, comments: “Our SOC 2 achievement is testament to our unrelenting focus on security and controlled access to our systems. As eCommerce continues to evolve, maintaining the trust of our customers and protecting their data is of paramount importance. “This assessment reflects our dedication to continuous improvement. The insightful report provided by Datentschutz Experte.de has enabled us to enhance our data protection management. We received a comprehensive checklist outlining areas for improvement, further reinforcing our commitment to safeguarding the data we process. We're looking forward to taking our next steps regarding compliance as we believe this is essential for the regulation and professionalisation of our industry”.

In today’s digital landscape, where cybersecurity threats continue to grow more prevalent, Convious remains committed to upholding the highest standards of protection. Achieving SOC 2 IT Security Compliance aligns with the company's mission to empower eCommerce businesses with cutting-edge technology while fostering trust and confidence among their partners and attraction visitors.
