World’s first Jumanji themed land set to open in 2023

hessington World of Adventures Resort and Sony Pictures Entertainment has revealed plans for ‘World of Jumanji’. Set to open in spring 2023, this £17m development marks the world’s first themed land for the box office hit Jumanji film franchise and the single largest investment in the history of the renowned UK resort.

entertainment and industry experts from around the world as they create a world- first experience that deep dives into the adventurous, action-packed stories seen in the box office hit Jumanji films. For those who think they are brave enough to enter the world, a first look at some of the proposed designs gives an exciting glimpse at what to expect. The impressive entrance portal, shrouded in the ominous and overgrown Jumanji jungle that dominates the development, creates the perfect immersive starting point for guests as they prepare to take on a whole host of challenges. Whilst the iconic and unmissable Jaguar Shrine structure looms 55ft tall, keeping a watchful eye out over all who enter as it awaits the return of the curse-lifting Jaguar’s Eye jewel. LEGOLAND Windsor Resort unveils LEGO models of The Royal family


Talented Model Makers at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have unveiled miniature LEGO models of their new royal neighbours, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family.


The moving-in scene which features a ‘Royal Removals’ service celebrates the news of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge moving to Adelaide Cottage in Berkshire in September.


Built using a total of 4,100 LEGO bricks, The Duke and Duchess can be found outside the 39,000 LEGO brick creation of Windsor Castle alongside their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and their family dog Orla in the Resort’s iconic Miniland attraction.

Guests can see the new royal scene as part of Miniland, where it will be on display complete with grand piano, Grandfather clock and children’s toy box until the end of autumn.


Paula Laughton, chief model maker at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “The Resort has always had a special connection with the Royal family so to welcome our new neighbours, our talented Model Makers are giving the royals a brick-tastic housewarming present by recreating the family in miniature form.


“The Royal Removal scene will go on display throughout September, and we hope to welcome the Duke and Duchess and their family to the Resort
