IAAPA Expo Europe booth. The new theme park, based on the beloved cartoon character Olivier B. Bommel and his comrade Tom Poes of cartoonist Marten Toonder was announced as a 9,000 square metre indoor park set in castle Bommelstein. Little Lion Entertainment announced the launch of the PAC-MAN LIVE EXPERIENCE, a real-life physical experience based on the iconic video game. The experience would see Little Lion Entertainment’s Games Arena venues transformed into immersive, interactive mazes, with players stepping into the roles of PAC-people physically, navigating the iconic levels, collecting power pellets and fruit, all the while dodging the ever- present ghosts.
Anticipated openings for 2025 Launch Pad is a reimagined and re-themed take on the famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort ride – Ice Blast. The ride includes a brand-new pressure cylinder that will change the present ride experience and shove passengers with more force than they have in recent years, in addition to the new branding and theming. Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “Earlier [in 2024] we
announced that we are focusing on constantly evolving and renewing our ride offering, and confirmed our intention to make some exciting announcements in the future. The new era of Launch Pad is only the first, and we’re looking forward to everything the future holds at Pleasure Beach Resort.” Kraftverket has been announced as a
new family thrill ride due to open in spring 2025 at Swedish amusement park, Liseberg. The construction of Kraftverket, which translates to “the power house,” is underway in the southern section of Liseberg. This new addition is situated below one of the park’s major attractions,
the Valkyria dive coaster. “Kraftverket may seem unassuming based on its size, but don’t let that fool you. This will be a true family thrill ride. We are very proud to bring back this classic to Liseberg,” said Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg. There are long-term development plans for Liseberg, specifically for the southern part of the park. The plan for Kraftverket has been in place since the construction of Valkyria in 2016, and now the time has finally come to unleash the power. Kraftverket will be a perfect complement to the park’s other attractions.” GRAND PRIX EDventure is an
exciting new interactive 3D family dark ride set to open under Europa Park’s Food Loop (the OG roller coaster) restaurant. Germany’s largest theme park has announced that this brand-new dark ride will open for its 2025 season. GRAND PRIX EDvenrture will transport families into the heart of the animated family motion picture GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE – a Co-production between MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions of Germany. The new ride will use state of the art multimedia and special effects to thrust families into the heart of the action as they
