What is the strangest item of lost property you have found in your park?


Tina Resch, Liseberg The strangest thing that a guest forgot in our park was a leg prosthesis. It was never retrieved and we are still wondering how to not miss this item.


Spokesperson, Blackpool Pleasure Beach When we were installing Infusion, we needed to drain a lake. When we did this, amongst other things, we found a wig, prosthetic ear, glass eye and a number of pairs of false teeth - basically you could make a face from what we discovered. Unsurprisingly none of this was claimed.

In the US, Clementon Park & Splash World, Clementon, New Jersey, invites guests to bring back the memories of old-fashioned family fun in 2019 with the addition of four new, retro ride favourites. After 112 years of entertaining guests, the historic park remains a regional favorite and this year expands with the addition of Pirate Ship from SBF/Visa, an Eli Bridge Scrambler and Larson International Tilt-A-Whirl rides, plus a twisting Dragon Coaster by Wisdom.

Schlitterbahn Galveston Island, Texas, is adding a new multi-million dollar set of slides from Whitewater. Infinity Racers, which will open in June of 2019, is a pair of space-themed, racing head-first mat slides that are 75 feet (23 m) tall and 696 feet (212 m) long. Both of the racing slides are fully enclosed for 85% of the ride, except for the loading and splash zones, with multi-colored fiberglass that creates unique lighting effects inside each slide.

Construction continues by The Gravity Group on the Kentucky Flyer, the new roller coaster announced by Kentucky Kingdom to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Being built at a project cost of $5 million, it will be ready to ride on the park’s opening day in 2019.

More than 25 million people in 71 countries have seen Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater perform. The dance company is returning to the Tivoli Concert Hall for the 17th time in August 2019. This time, six works will be shown for the first time in Denmark, along with Ailey's well-loved signature piece Revelations. The guest performance in the Tivoli Concert Hall will last from 28 August until 1 September 2019.
