Ten scare zones set for Busch Gardens Tampa’s Howl-O-Scream

T

his year’s modified Howl-O-Scream event will include ten “terrifying” scare zones throughout Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s expansive 335-acre park, including four new zones – Lycan

Landing, The Junkyard, The Escape and Grey Echo Penitentiary. Designed to scare safely, the creative production team has consulted with medical experts to modify this year’s zone designs with a physical distancing focus, as well as enhanced health and safety measures, while staying true to the terrifying experience fans crave. With significantly limited capacity to create plenty of open space, guests will experience new horrors as they dash between thrilling rollercoasters and the fan-favourite Fiends show every Friday, Saurday and Sunday from 25 September through to 1 November. As guests roam between zones and coasters, they can enjoy select favourites from the Bier Fest menu available throughout the night. Delicious drinks and dishes from favourite culinary cabins are the perfect grab-and-go accompaniment as guests head to the Festival Field for the fan-favourite Fiends show starring Dr. Freakenstein and his frightful entourage, on its largest stage ever. Bench seating will be arranged in a physically distant manner to ensure there is plenty of space for a limited number of guests to enjoy each performance.

Efteling invites guests to experience the magic without the queues or quarantine

Efteling has launched a new online platform allowing fans across the world to explore the “World of Wonders” from their homes. Visitors can choose up to 12 rides from a collection of on-ride videos to

experience with their companions. The collection features Efteling’s most popular attractions, from the white-knuckle roller coasters such as the double- looped Python to the more relaxed rides such as Carnaval Festival, which follows Efteling inhabitants Jokie and Jet on an adventure to different countries and cultures. It also includes the Aquanura illuminated water show against a night sky, which is when it is at its most impressive. Friends and family can ‘chat’ to each other during their virtual visit via the keyboard function. Users select the rides they want to experience and they will then be

played one after another in a personalised chat room, made up of friends and family. Each on-ride video differs in length, as some rides are longer than others, which means the total length of the virtual experience will be dependent on the on-ride videos chosen by the users. To start the virtual journey, guests must visit onride.efteling.com and

register. Once this is done, they can invite their family and friends for a virtual adventure!
