Nos agrada reportar sobre el GAT Showcase Bogotá 2024, en la primera semana de septiembre, donde logró consolidarse como una de las plataformas más vibrantes de negocios y networking para la industria de juegos de azar, siendo una relevante vitrina comercial de oferta y demanda de productos y servicios, epicentro de reuniones de líderes empresariales y operadores de todas las regiones de la nación suramericana, teniendo la oportunidad de realizar intercambios comerciales y alianzas estratégicas para actualizar sus portafolios y equipamiento de los grandes casinos y salas de juego de la región. El dinámico equipo de GAT Events seguidamente se dirigió a Republica dominicana para celebrar el GAT Santo Domingo, en la tercera semana de septiembre, donde de seguro les ha ido de maravillas. Y así, nos preparamos para el gran evento de G2E 2024, en The Venetian de Las Vegas, donde el mundo del juego se junta anualmente para iniciar el rumbo de la industria durante el ano venidero. ¡Alla nos vemos!

We are pleased to report, also, that GAT Showcase Bogotá 2024 in the first week of September has managed to become established as one of the most vibrant business and networking platforms for the gaming industry. As a relevant commercial showcase of supply and demand for products and services, the event was the epicentre of meetings by industry business leaders and operators from all regions of the South American nation, with opportunities to carry out commercial interchanges and strategic alliances to update their portfolios, as well as equipment for the large casinos and gaming halls in the region.
Following their Bogota sojourn, the dynamic GAT Events team then headed to the Dominican Republic to celebrate the GAT Santo Domingo, in the third week of September, where they have surely done wonderfully, also. And so, we begin to get ready for the G2E 2024, at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where the gaming world comes together annually to begin a new cycle of the gaming industry for the coming year. IPLyC anuncia licitación de 7 casinos de Buenos Aires
El presidente de la Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLyC), Gonzalo Atanasof, estuvo el pasado viernes 6 en la ciudad de Mar del Plata para participar de múltiples actividades junto a referentes gremiales del Casino Central y anexos y compartir dos jornadas de bingo, mates y música con más de 200 adultos mayores de la ciudad. En esta última actividad, estuvo acompañado por Fernanda Raverta, de la oficina local.
La jornada comenzó con una recorrida por el Casino Central de cara a la temporada estival y dialogar con los referentes gremiales del sector sobre la licitación de los casinos Hermitage, Sasso, Miramar, Mar de Ajó, Tandil, Sierra y Necochea, que actualmente se gestionan mediante contratación directa. Atanasof, dijo: “Confirmamos la decisión del
Gobernador, Axel Kicillof de poner en marcha las
licitaciones que quedaron pendientes. Necesitamos inversiones que brinden previsibilidad a las fuentes laborales. Por eso escuchamos las sugerencias de los gremios, queremos generar estabilidad para los trabajadores y exigir mejoras tanto en las instalaciones como en las condiciones laborales”. Participaron en el evento, Roberto “Chucho” Páez, secretario general de la Asociación Gremial de Empleados de Administración, Maestranza y Servicios de Casinos (AMS), Marcos Labrador, presidente de la Asociación de Empleados de Casinos Nacionales (AECN) y el director del Casino Central, Fernando Mogni.
ARGENTINA IPLyC announces sale of 7 Buenos Aires casinos
The president of Buenos Aires’s Instituto Provincial de Loterias y Casinos (IPLyC), Gonzalo Atanasof, took part on Friday 6 September in multiple events in the city of Mar del Plata. Together with casino union leaders of Casino Central and other operations, they shared two days of bingo events, mate drinks and music with more than 200 retired local adults, where he was accompanied by Fernanda Raverta, from the local office. The events day began with a tour of the Central Casino in preparation for the summer season, where Atanasof talked with the casino union leaders about the proposed sales tender for casinos in localities of Hermitage, Sasso, Miramar, Mar de Ajó, Tandil, Sierra and Necochea, which are currently managed through direct contracting with operating companies. Atanasof, said: “We confirm the decision of Buenos Aires Province Governor, Axel Kicillof, to launch the tenders which were pending for all casinos. We need investments that provide security for casino
labour sources, and that is why we have listened to suggestions from the unions. We want to generate stability for all workers and demand improvements both in the facilities and the working conditions for employees.”
Also taking part in the events were: Roberto “Chucho” Páez, general secretary of the Association of Administration, Maintenance and Casino Services Employees (AMS), Marcos Labrador, president of the Association of National Casino Employees (AECN) and the director of the Central Casino, Fernando Mogni.
