Chernin Group forms Action Network

S media tycoon Peter Chernin has acquired three market leaders in sports betting and
fantasy sports data, in a move that highlights the sector’s potential in the US. Sports Insights, FantasyLabs and SportsAction will be united to form the Action Network, a subscription-based platform to “give sports bettors access to data and analytical tools, along with articles, podcasts and videos that analyse sports from the perspective of a fan who has money on the line,” said Chernin, the chairman and chief executive of Chernin Group.

IWG deals with Pariplay I
WG has agreed a deal to deliver its entire suite product portfolio to Pariplay. Under the agreement, IWG’s collection of instant win titles will be distributed to tier-one operators via the Pariplay ‘FUSION’ content aggregator network. Pariplay
counts the likes of GVC Holdings, Jumpman Gaming and the 888 Bingo network as clients.

Videoslots to launch 3D poker O
nline casino operator
Videoslots.com is to launch a 3D poker product after the acquisition of technology assets from the PKR estate, which went into administration earlier this year. The deal supplies Videoslots with PKR’s PC, Mac, iOS and Android clients, and will form the basis of its poker product to be launched next year. Videoslots’ players will initially be able to access the product on a downloadable application for PC, with a mobile and web version to be developed soon after.
PKR’s 3D poker was unique to the poker industry on its launch, with
players able to create personalised 3D avatars within the interface, and visualise the poker game in a realistic environment.
