A new study by resume builder, CVMaker has revealed that the gambling and betting activities sector experienced the highest employment growth in the UK from 2023 to 2024, with employee numbers rising from 44,000 to 58,000. The research examined employee counts across 80 different job sectors using data from the Offi ce for National Statistics (ONS). The statistics show that gambling and betting activities saw a 31.82 per cent increase in workforce size, the highest growth rate across all job sectors.
