a nota sobresaliente en el mes de mayo ha sido la Ordenanza de la Secretaría de Premios y Apuestas (SPA) del Ministerio de Hacienda de Brasil, según la primera nota líneas abajo, donde con inequívoca claridad que casinos online y apuestas deportivas empezaran a operar antes de fin de año. Esto por el lado bueno. Por el lado malo, en los próximos números iremos adelantando como se mueven las fichas para el juego de casinos en complejos integrados, después que el presidente de la Comisión de Constitución y Justicia del Senado, el 21 de mayo, decidió posponer el voto para defender el avance de la ley PL 2.234/2022, aprobada en Diputados en 2022, para abrir 30 casinos en Brasil.
El Chile, el lunes 06 de mayo, el Consejo Resolutivo de la Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego, autorizó un permiso de operación para casino de juego a la sociedad Casino Patagonia S.A. para la comuna de Natales, Región de Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena. Y así la última semana de mayo, cuando el CGS
Santiago ofrecerá una cálida bienvenida a un selecto grupo de ponentes que
respaldarán los esfuerzos de la compañía para consolidar el mercado del juego en Chile, durante el 29 y 30 de mayo en la ciudad capital de Chile. En la próxima edición de Americano estaremos reportando sobre el evento.
Igualmente lo haremos con el PGS 2024, que se realiza los días 12 y 13 de junio en el CC del Hipódromo de Monterrico de Lima, con un lleno anticipado por la apertura del juego online reglamentado en el país, y como de costumbre, salimos para la Lima de mis amores, ya mismo. ¡Alla nos vemos!

he outstanding news in the month of May has been the Ordinance issued by Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance, as reported below, where with unequivocal clarity online casinos and sports betting will begin to operate before the end of the year. This is on the bright side. On the bad side, we’ll be reporting how full casino legislation moves forward, hopefully, for integrated resorts, after the president of the Constitution and Justice Commission of the Senate on May 21 decided to postpone the vote that proposes advancement of law PL 2.234/2022, approved in the Lower House in 2022, to open 30 casinos in Brazil. On Monday, May 6, the Resolution Council of Chile’s regulator, Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego, authorized a casino operating permit to the company Casino Patagonia S.A. to open and operate a casino in Natales, Magallanes in the Chilean Antarctica Region.
And so we come to the last week of May, when CGS Santiago will offer a warm welcome to a select group of speakers who will support the company’s efforts to consolidate the gaming market in
Chile, during May 29 and 30 in Santiago, the capital city. In Americano’s next edition we will be reporting on this important event.
Needless to say, we will also be reporting on PGS 2024, which takes place on June 12 and 13 at the Hipodromo de Monterrico CC in Lima, where a full house is truly anticipated, to welcome the opening of regulated online gambling in the country. As soon as we can, we’ll be making our way to my beloved Lima. See you all, there!
