l Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLyC) de la provincia de Buenos Aires ha adjudicado a la empresa Boldt S.A., la operación de los casinos de Miramar, Tandil y Hermitage, que comprende la provisión y mantenimiento de máquinas electrónicas de juegos de azar, el sistema de control online y la remodelación integral de los casinos con una inversión prevista en US$33,6 millones.
Con fecha 13 de mayo, el Senado dominicano aceptó el Proyecto de Ley del senador Pedro Tineo que pondría a la Lotería Nacional en forma autónoma como ente regulador del sector de juegos de azar en República Dominicana, con poderes de supervisión, fiscalización, regulación, inspección y sanciones, contando con personería jurídica, patrimonio propio, con autonomía administrativa, económica, financiera y técnica sobre las operaciones de bancas de lotería, bancas deportivas, casinos, juegos electrónicos y otras formas de Gaming en el país.
El proyecto de ley del senador Tineo propone terminar con las inconsistencias regulatoria que se presentan en la actualidad, tales como el aumento irregular de bancas de apuestas, evasión fiscal, operaciones ilegales y falta de supervisión, y tiene el principal objetivo de ordenar el sector, mediante reglamentos modernos para mejorar recaudaciones tributarias con transparencia en las operaciones del Sector. En su rol actual. la Lotería Nacional administra los sorteos y loterías tradicionales en RRDD, pero si se aprueba la propuesta legislativa la entidad se pondría bajo el control del Ministerio de Hacienda.
Como se puede ver a continuación, los diputados de Argentina también apuestas a ordenar la legislación del juego para tratar de proteger a la sociedad del auge de juego de azar y apuestas de toda forma.

n Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, regulators have awarded to a private company, Boldt S.A., the operation of three casinos: Miramar, Tandil, and Hermitage, with provision for upgrading and maintenance of electronic gaming machines, online control system and the comprehensive refurbishment of the properties with an investment of US$33.6 million.
On May 13, the Dominican Republic Senate accepted Senator Pedro Tineo’s Bill that would autonomously place the National Lottery as the regulatory entity of the gambling sector in the country, with powers of supervision, oversight, regulation, inspection and sanctions, as a legal entity with administrative autonomy over economic, financial and technical supervision of the operations of lottery banks, sports banks, casinos, electronic games and other forms of Gaming in the country.
Senator Tineo’s bill proposes to end the regulatory inconsistencies that currently exist in the country, such as the irregular increase of bookmakers, tax evasion, illegal operations and lack of coherent supervision. This has the main objective of putting the gambling sector in order, through modern regulations to improve tax collections with transparency in all operations in the country. In its current role. the National Lottery administers traditional raffles and lotteries in the Dominican Republic but if the legislative proposal is approved the entity would be placed under the control of the Ministry of Finance. As you can may read below, Argentina’s representatives are also trying to bring new gambling legislation to try to protect society from the boom in gambling and betting in all forms. June brings us SAGSE Central America & Caribbean (3-4), in Panama; followed by the SBC Summit Americas (9-11) in Ft.
