Clarion Gaming’s Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, spoke to Casino International about what ICE 2023 visitors can expect
CI: Let’s get straight to the point, what can visitors expect from ICE London 2023 and why is it so important? SH: With ICE London welcoming back all of the major suppliers to the land-based sector, we are looking forward to experiencing one of the most significant editions of the show on record. We are expecting a big and a truly global attendance, a fantastic energy, a proliferation of new ideas, new connections, world-beating networking opportunities and
of course the very best concentration of the most significant innovators and suppliers to all sectors of the international industry found anywhere. In fact, we are projecting that somewhere in the region of 3,000 product launches will take place on the show floor over the three days. As well as providing a home for the industry’s major brands, I’m extremely proud to say that Clarion Gaming also has a distinguished track record of providing a
platform for companies exhibiting for the first time and for ambitious new start-ups. Our Pitch ICE programme offers up to 14 gaming entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their solutions and innovative approaches in front of industry investors and visitors attending ICE London. The successful companies secure a free of charge pod on the Pitch ICE Pavilion for the full three days of the show and a priceless opportunity to take to the ICE stage and pitch to potential investors. We have been providing start-ups with a
gateway to industry investors and strategic partners since 2009, with many securing important investments and acquisition partners as a direct result of their pitch presentations.
CI: In addition to Pitch ICE what other show features can visitors expect to experience? SH: ICE was the first gambling industry event to identify the opportunities that exist in Esports and the ICE Esports Arena has built a reputation for being the ‘go to’ feature for the industry. We also have events such as the International Casino Conference, the World Regulatory Briefing, and the ICE VOX learning programme. Probably one of the most visited features is the Consumer Protection Zone which in 2023 will comprise a record 20 stands, up from the 2022 figure of 14. The CPZ is a blend of providers of
responsible gambling tools and solutions and leading not for profit organisations to whom we have gifted space. Brands featured will include the Gambling Commission, Focal Research, Casino Guru, Future Anthem, Department of Trust, Mindway AI, Intuita
