CASINO FOCUS

A PIONEER OF THE LAS VEGAS– STYLE EXPERIENCE IN EUROPE HIT Group’s origins date back to 1984, when its first casino - the Roulette Salon in Nova Gorica (today Park, Hotel & Entertainment) - welcomed its initial guests. The property quickly established a strong cross-border market, especially among Italian visitors, and set the foundations for the region’s development as a gaming destination.

A defining milestone followed in 1993 with the opening of Perla in Nova Gorica, a groundbreaking project that introduced one of Europe’s earliest integrated casino-resort concepts. Perla reimagined the casino experience by blending gaming with live entertainment, fine dining, upscale hotel accommodation, business facilities, and wellness services.

Today, Perla Resort & Entertainment - complemented by its online counterpart PerlaPlay.it - remains one of the largest and most distinctive entertainment and gaming centers in Europe, serving as the clearest expression of HIT Group’s commitment to delivering a multi-layered entertainment universe.

A PORTFOLIO OF DISTINCT DESTINATIONS

Over the decades, HIT Group has expanded its integrated model into a sophisticated portfolio of properties strategically located in Slovenia’s most iconic tourism regions: Nova Gorica, Kranjska Gora, Rogaška Slatina, and Šentilj as well as in Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina).

Each property offers a unique flavor of gaming, entertainment, culinary experiences, and event programming tailored to regional tourism dynamics. This approach enables HIT to shape destination- driven concepts rather than conventional stand-alone casino facilities.

GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT: PRESENT STRENGTH, FUTURE AMBITION

With fresh leadership under President Mr. Sandi Brataševec, HIT Group has embarked on an ambitious new sustainability and development framework, the 2024–2029 strategy, which is already delivering results.

In December 2024, HIT Group expanded its footprint on the Slovenian–Italian border with the launch of Casino Drive-In, adding a new layer of entertainment to the Nova Gorica destination. Reflecting its ambitions on the Italian market, the HIT Company secured a new Italian online gaming license, granting operating rights for the next nine years. To solidify its long-term position, the HIT Company has also introduced PerlaPlay.it, a new online casino supported by omnichannel engagement strategies that connect digital audiences with the company’s land-based venues, creating a seamless, cross-platform player experience. HIT Group is also reinforcing its international standing by hosting high-profile industry events at its own properties, including the ECA Industry Forum and the Casino Operations Summit. On the operational front, HIT Group recorded more than 1.1 million casino visits in past year, underscoring its

relevance as a leading land-based European operator with an increasingly global audience. Across all properties, the commitment to excellence is matched by a strong focus on social responsibility and responsible gaming, ensuring safe and transparent operations that foster long-term player trust. “At our core, and as an integrated part of our new development strategy, we are driven by professionalism, innovation, and sustainability. From implementing cutting-edge technologies and responsible gaming practices to embracing cultural and geographic diversity across our destinations, we strive to ensure our properties appeal to audiences beyond traditional casino guests, encouraging longer-stay tourism and supporting local development,” concludes Brataševec.
