Embedded V1000 slot gaming

this together on a single chip is that people often use a discrete graphics chip in conjunction with discrete high-end processors, where instead this chip achieves up to 3.6 teraflops all in one chip. We have a good-better-best portfolio for discrete graphics, with entry level at 1.5 teraflops, mid-range at 2.5 and top for embedded at 5.5, so at 3.6 it’s well up that ladder. It allows people to replace a discrete processor and a discrete graphics chip with a single device so they save on component cost, board space, infrastructure and power. It’s a huge benefit and we are overwhelmed by the response, interest and adoption of the product from the casino gaming space. On the security side, we have a huge amount of new

developments that make this an incredibly secure product. With all the talk about security these days, it is more important than ever to encrypt your memory regardless of what other security features you have. As well as giving this huge combined performance, we also have fantastic new security technology which provides another level from what has been available on the market up until now. Casino International: When you think of a casino game, it would be easy to think they would not need much in the

way of processor or graphics card – what has changed so much that in the last few years your chips need so much greater capability? ST: I guess to an extent people want whatever they can get. We

sell everything from our entry-level AMD Embedded G-series to the R-series processors into this space, but it is typically the higher-end processors that customers buy for gaming. More and more resolution is required these days to make the games more attractive and interactive, and it requires a lot of processing. One of the things that enables that is dual 3200 DDR-4 memory controllers on here, which is the fastest in the market today; you need that to get all the bits on and off the chip so you can render and display them. That’s part of it. There is a broader array of games and control functionalities, security is becoming a bigger issue, and the combination of these elements means a lot of processing headroom to cope with demands on the machine when it’s running flat out. Mitch Furman: Casinos are also looking towards the

future, anticipating where people are going to play the game and growing the current customer base and/or spend. Some of the new bigger machines are absolutely beautiful, they’re just mesmerising. When systems are all running 4K they’re
