A la fecha, no existe ley alguna para la


oferta de apuestas deportivas y juego online en Perú, donde muchas empresas ofrecen estos productos al mercado, que en 2017 habría generado ingresos por unos US$350 millones. Se estima que, en 2018, tal cifra supere la anterior en un 20% por la fiebre de apuestas deportivas durante el Mundial de Rusia. La competencia legislativa concedida por el Congreso al Ejecutivo peruano consiste en legislación pertinente para hacer frente a impuestos, competitividad y gestión económica. Esto significa que, como Perú busca más formas de incrementar ingresos a las arcas fiscales, las apuestas por Internet y celulares están listas para beneficiar al país por lo menos en US$ 80 millones por los ingresos actuales mencionados líneas arriba, pues tal como se propone, la tributación del juego por Internet se fijaría en 12% del GGR (Ingresos brutos).

inutos antes de ingresar a producción, nos informan que solamente han quedado empresas argentinas para competir por las tres “canastas” de


casinos que el Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLYC) de Buenos Aires ha puesto en concurso de licitación. Entre las empresas que se retiraron se encuentran una filial de Advent, que hasta poco era conocida como Enjoy, operadora entre otros el Casino Conrad de Punta del Este; Codere, empresa española, también propiedad de otro fondo de inversiones y operadora de varios bingos en la provincia de Buenos Aires, y una empresa filipina. En la ceremonia de presentación de sobres del día 28 de junio, cada ofertante presentó dos sobres, incluyendo su capacidad financiera para participar de la licitación, su experiencia en el rubro, planes de inversión y la eventual construcción de nuevos edificios para los casinos, entre otros datos técnicos.
