RUBY TECHNOLOGY – ICE PREVIEW

Bulgaria-based casino and slot management solutions provider Ruby Technology put their faith in ICE

Technology makes its debut appearance at February’s ICE, and they’re bringing top CMS product Ridotto. Check it out on booth S9-110

Y

ou may not have heard of Ridotto yet, but if you haven’t, then you soon will, as Ridotto is well on the way to being acknowledged as probably the best slots casino

management system on the market. Welcome to the new era in casino management.

What is Ridotto and where did it come from?

Ridotto is slot management software developed by Ruby Technology, a Northern Cyprus-based software development company. Ruby Technology has been trialling their software in a number of casinos in Northern Cyprus and other countries for several years but the company is now confident that it is ready to launch to the rest of the world at ICE, after showing it at the recent ICE Africa and Bulgarian Gaming expositions, where it was very positively received. Ridotto provides an operator with all the

essential and unique tools to fully control the casino and, importantly, to satisfy the players. Integrated with Casino Assist developed for table games, CRM and Cage, gives full casino operation management control.

What differentiates Ridotto from other systems?

The most common problem casino users face is aligning their company procedures with management systems which are not flexible enough to adjust to the casino setup. Thus, casino management is forced to adjust their procedures to the system software. This is of course the wrong way round. Ruby Technology developed the system to be adjustable to any casino internal setup to make it easy to comply with existing company systems and procedures. Then there is Multi-Currency usage. Most

electronic gaming machine software in the market allows the operator to work with just one or two currencies. Double-currency software exchanges currencies from one to another to keep reports based on just one currency. This

creates chaos in the cashbox. Reports turn out to be based on one currency, but the cashbox has banknotes from two currencies. Ridotto Multi-Currency rates are solely determined by the casino. Management is able to define currencies by choosing most effective ones used in their gaming floor and their rates. With this feature, a machine can be defined to work only with a single currency or multiple currencies. Ridotto is a real-time, accessible from

everywhere, anytime. The Ridotto panel demonstrates all the reports and all the notification systems for work management. Ridotto instantly reports all activity

simultaneously without losing time, making it real-time. The operator can instantly track all activity and keep an eye on reports – revenue earning or how much money is in or out, tracking games played and how often, access to a player’s details or a machine’s percentage and much more. Simply put, all accounting, player statistics and reports that operators have been looking for. One of the biggest problems in a casino, “critical events”, now has a solution. On the web panel, the operator can monitor critical events as they occur. These critical events include a notification when ticket printers run out of paper, machine open door or any errors or problems in the system can be set by management to be notified. This feature prevents any harm to the cashbox as the operator is immediately notified when a machine door is opened. Security is the name of the game. With Ridotto, when a machine goes offline, players can still continue to play without any distractions during the game and the casino saves downtime revenue loss.

Interaction

One of the biggest plusses with Ridotto is interaction with the machine player via the 6.2-inch Interactive Screen. Integrated with Ruby POS F&B software, Ridotto offers player to directly order food and beverage from F&B menu, all without disturbing their game. Customer satisfaction increases as the player does not lose time trying you attract a waiter or attendant. Ruby POS application is designed to able waiters to see all the orders, assign themselves to orders, track the orders and mark as done. Player orders can be tracked, and their order history can be viewed from the application. All orders appear automatically in the Ruby POS system and everything is recorded electronically.

All Ruby Technology software can be seen at ICE London stand number S9-110 with their latest innovations
