Häfele enhances Smeg studio support A
s part of Häfele’s exclusive distribution partnership with Smeg,
the distributor and manufacturer has developed an improved support package to help KBB studios maximise sales of the iconic Italian cooking brand’s major domestic appliances. The first advancement is
the appointment Kully Rayit as Sales Support Manager. Kully will work alongside Häfele Area Sales Managers to both onboard new studios that want to start displaying the Smeg range and help existing customers upgrade their displays with the latest products and marketing materials. With a 20-year background in field marketing
and the last 15 years in major domestic appliances for a range of well-known brands, Kully has extensive experience of working with retailers to strengthen their appliance offering. Speaking about the role, Kully said: “My role is to
work closely with both new and existing customers to help them maximise sales of Smeg solutions. Typically, I support on aspects such as refreshing POS – for example, making sure there’s visible details about Smeg’s five-year guarantee and sharing details of promotional offers – and another huge part of my job is training and demonstrating. “I’m very passionate about passing on
knowledge to studios in a real-world way. Rather than lots of theory and presentations, I help customers to fully understand the functionality of products by getting them to turn on and try products for themselves, so they can really see and feel what their customer will. I also give an insight into Smeg’s ethos and history, from its rigorous manufacturing principles to fashion collaborations.”
Supporting new products With innovation at the heart of the Smeg brand, Kully also supports studios in upgrading their displays with new products including solutions such as Galileo, the latest technology from Smeg. The smart cooking platform combines traditional, microwave and steam cooking to revolutionise cooking at home and reduce cooking time by up to 70%, and improve efficiency by 10% when compared to traditional models. “To help studios have all the information they
need to hand, I’ve developed a series of at-a-glance guides for designers that can be updated as new products emerge,” added Kully.
Added value events Knowing nothing beats seeing appliances in action. To this end, Häfele and Smeg have developed a series of events designed to let attendees get to grips with these iconic products. The first is a series of Smeg cooking events
which are aimed at consumers. With amazing food demonstrations and product tutorials, these sessions help to engage potential customers and bring Smeg’s culinary range to life. Studios can also find out more about bespoke
training days that can be hosted at either Smeg’s flagship London store or UK headquarters in Oxfordshire. These unique, tailored events are the perfect practical way to understand the power of Smeg’s range and help communicate benefits to customers.
