Elica puts homeowners in the Loop

talian cooker hood specialist Elica has added two new beautifully designed hoods to its impressive range.
Loop, part of its range of vertical hoods, is available in matt black or white Cristalplant, a hypoallergenic, scratch resistant, easy clean material. It offers excellent extraction of up to 757 M3/H on boost but with very low noise of 31-54 db(A) in normal operation and 69db(A) on boost. Loop provides extraction from both the bottom edge of the hood as well as from around its central ring. The hood can be used in either re-circulating or duct out modes and when it is re-circulating its Revolution Filter captures up to 82% of the compounds that cause odours, compared to the market average of just 60%.
In contrast, Bio combines the classic lines of a conventional cooker hood with a satin white and natural wood finish that gives it a fresh, contemporary feel suitable for almost any space or decor.
The hood, which is available in wall-mounted or island models and which can be used in re-circulating or duct out modes, incorporates excellent extraction technology of up to 757 m3/h on boost but with very low noise of only 32-60 db(A) in normal operation and 69db(A) on boost. The hood’s Revolution Filter guarantees 82% filtration levels, compared to the market average of 60%. An extension oak shelf, which is available for the wall-mounted model, gives a longer, more elegant design option. The unit also incorporates a handy USB socket for the convenient placing charging of mobile phones or tablets while following a recipe or catching up with vlogs.
As part of the Elica Téchne range, both Loop and Bio are fitted with the innovative Tune- White feature. At the press of a button, you can adjust the colour temperature of the LEDs in the hood to go from a warm yellow light (2700K) to a cool white light (6000K) to reflect personal preference or to match other lighting in the room.
The touch control Tune-White feature joins an A+ energy rating, high filtering efficiency and easy cleaning and maintenance, in making hoods in the Téchne range the epitome of style and performance. Loop and Bio are also ready for integration with the Elica SNAP air balance system. SNAP has been designed to help keep the air in the home fresh and clean. SNAP is part of the “Internet of Things” and can interact and communicate with other devices. It has three sensors that measure air quality, temperature and humidity and can automatically activate air exchange when measured levels fall below the optimal.
