ompusoft have been at the forefront of innovation since inception in 1989, making uncompromised decisions to continually deliver the innovative tools customers enjoy across the globe today. By recognising a new development platform in the early 90’s Compusoft took the brave decision to move away from the traditional MS-DOS and instead embrace the new era of Windows based technology: A decision that laid the foundations for the future. Whilst maintaining this pioneering spirit Compusoft take great pride in being recognised as a “World class service organisation” and will never release a product to market that “isn’t quite ready”. The new 360° Panoramic rendering (which benefits from exceptional rendered image quality ) is a recent testament to this philosophy: Compusoft were the last to release such a tool, but through disciplined procedures we released an easy to use application without the gold-fish bowl effect (distortion often experienced through products prematurely released).
Virtual Reality and 4D are the ‘buzz’ phrases in the industry at present but are these tools that can really benefit your business? Compusoft recognised the momentum that VR/4D had started to make and has heavily invested into these areas, partnering with some of the world’s top experts on VR technology. Having recently exhibited our “4D Theatre” at the recent ISH exhibition and receiving highly positive
feedback we started to roll the immersive technology out to the first of our 16 countries where we are present with our own service organization. In the UK we are currently in talks with several partners and will be releasing the “4D Theatre” to the UK market in October 2017. Compusoft recognise that whilst 4D tools offer a new experience of presenting designs; they are not feasible for most independent retail environments in terms of accommodating the spatial requirements. We know this first hand following a recent indiscriminate survey amongst our 13,000+ installed customer base across Europe.
However, with the recent release of cloud and web based tools, we can bring exciting opportunities to retailers without the need for large open spaces on a showroom floor and the added expenditure. Compusoft have seen an unprecedented uptake of the Winner Cloud and inno+ Cloud services which offer new ways to share experiences, information and communicate with the end consumer. By focusing on the needs of the retailer these new services deliver real measurable value in terms of time saving, communication and overall control of data.
