Professor Spence will discuss some of the ways we can all more intelligently stimulate our senses in the home to support our health and social, cognitive, and emotional well-being. His presentation will focus on ‘sensehacking’ our showrooms, exploring how we can transform them into a multi-sensory experience that enhances both the design and sales process. He will also demonstrate how the home environment has a much more profound effect on us than any of us probably realise. Kbsa chair Richard Hibbert said, “We are delighted to welcome such a well-respected leader in psychology as Professor Spence who is believed to have done more to discover and promote the translational value of multisensory perception from the bench to business than any other academic.”

“Gone are the days when ventilation was purely about extracting moisture-laden air to avoid condensation and mould in a bathroom”, said Natasha King, RMI Product Manager at Vent-Axia. “Consumers are now demanding much more from their ventilation. Good IAQ is essential, but they also want fans to look good, be quiet, offer style options and even be app controllable. At Vent-Axia we have developed a range of fans that mean consumers can have any and all of these options.”
