“Matt Black is a big seller on brassware and the profiles on the Kudos Ultimate shower panels match a treat”

Ceramic Tile & Bathrooms, explains why they’ve been selling Kudos showers for 18 years…

eramic Tile & Bathrooms is a retail showroom based in Crewe. An established, second generation, family business of over 30 years that’s been selling Kudos Showering Products for 18 of them.

The business was started by Paul & Janette Nevitt selling tiles. They expanded and outgrew two business premises before they found the one in Mill Street where they trade today selling both tile and bathroom products. Seventeen years ago they began to be joined by their children Matthew, Steven and Laura, and the business continues to thrive under this second generation, now with 12 members of staff.

The family pride themselves on delivering great customer service and the showroom is a great advertising tool for the business. It sparks many ideas when visitors see many room sized sets showing different bathroom products and styles. The team visit the customers home and draw up a design and quote for approval before arranging both supply and installation.

“We have been designing Kudos shower enclosures into our bathrooms for many years as

the product design and the build quality is exceptional. But we soon realised that the back-up from Kudos is just as important. Being able to get new seals or runners for an enclosure, components that can fail after a number of years and Kudos keep these spares locally so that they can be called off quickly and sent directly to our customers to fix any issues. That gives us a lot of confidence in selling their brand.” Said Matthew Nevitt.

They have many Kudos enclosures and trays displayed in their showroom and they also send customers over to the Kudos showroom/training facility to view Kudos products that are not displayed in their showroom.

“People still like to see, touch and feel the bathroom products we sell.” Said Steven Nevitt.

“Many of the products fitted in a bathroom are behind the tiles and so its key to choose quality components and get the installation right and Kudos products align themselves to this way of selling. They are great quality, and we like to point out the subtle design features they carry to our customers.”

“We love the minimalist cut-out handles the Kudos Pinnacle8 Enclosures.”

In conclusion, the retailer confirmed that the latest trends in the world of bathrooms are that customers are a lot more willing to add coloured brassware finishes, like matt black, gunmetal and bronze and they like minimalist shower enclosures, often frameless or walk-in that are easy to clean. Ceramic Tile & Bathrooms are continuing to grow and focus on bathroom design and the relationship with Kudos showers appears set to continue. “Matt Black is still a big seller on brassware in a bathroom and the profiles on the Kudos Ultimate shower panels match a treat.”
