SwiftSave UK LTD Celebrates 35 Years Trading


wiftSave UK, Wolverhampton based family owned business is celebrating 35 years in business. Starting in 1990 at a small premises in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.

Started by buying overage stock from then the well known Retailer Texas Homecare. Rapidly growing in size buying overage, bankrupt stock in bulk, Swiftsave was known as the place where you could buy anything and everything. Moving to 2025 where that method has not changed, now in a 24,000sq ft showroom the store has grown and grown. With over 24 kitchens and 15 Bathrooms on display and A fully equipped manufacturing workshop shop. Swiftsave manufactures on site to suit all customers' designs and budgets. Mark Allen, Managing Director commented that he has been ‘Overwhelmed by the way the business has grown and developed and is looking forward to its future by currently working on its online and national presence working with larger developers and growing the retail side of the business, still maintaining the family run ethos’. With Thousands of lines available and a strong team, Swiftsave is one of the largest independent retailers of its type in the midlands and continues to adapt to customer demand and growing trends. Mark Allen also added ‘Would like to thank all of the very loyal customers both local and nationally over the past 35 years and look forward to what the future brings for all.

hib. strengthens team with further promotions following rebrand


ollowing the appointment of Chris Dodds as Executive Commercial Director earlier in May, hib. is continuing to build momentum with two further senior promotions, reinforcing its commitment to growth, innovation, and strategic leadership.

Deb Freeman has been promoted to Head of Brand and Marketing, following 15 months with the business. Deb led the recent rebrand and has played a key role in shaping hib.’s strategic marketing direction. In her new role, she will oversee brand development, marketing strategy, and customer engagement.


“I’m thrilled to take on this role at such a pivotal moment for hib. It’s been amazing to be part of the journey so far, and I’m excited to help shape what comes next,” said Deb.


Additionally, Rob Pattern has been promoted to Head of Product Development. Rob brings renewed energy and focus to this vital area of the business and will work closely with Product Director, Ash Chilver, to continue delivering exceptional, design-led bathroom solutions to market. “This is a really exciting opportunity,” said Rob. “We have a strong foundation in innovation and design, and I’m looking forward to building on that by working closely with the team to bring fresh ideas and high-quality, innovative products to our customers.”
