BATHS, BASINS & WC’S

Trojan Celebrates Its 50th Year of Bath Manufacturing Excellence in Style

ritish acrylic bath and gel coat shower tray manufacturer Trojan has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking a successful milestone for the Yorkshire company.

B

Established in Huddersfield in 1975 by Maurice Mosley, Trojan remains a family-run business that has grown from modest beginnings into one of Europe’s leading bath manufacturers. Today, the

business has a 206-strong workforce and operates across four sites in West Yorkshire.

Continual investment in plant and equipment is something that has driven innovation and enabled Trojan to weather many storms over the years. Driving forward product innovations in their Bathe Easy range and more recently new processes and materials for their gel coat trays, Trojan’s founding principles remain at their core.

With new bath designs planned for Q3 and

continued investment in shower tray designs and increased capacity, there is no sign of slowing down. However, to celebrate the half century, Trojan gave back to the team that has supported its journey and growth with a party at The John Smiths Stadium in Huddersfield on 6th June. Colleagues and their partners gathered for a fantastic evening of celebration including a meal, special entertainment from comedian Colin Manford, a magician and photo opportunities. The manufacturer now remains focused on ensuring that future generations continue to benefit from the values and principles that have driven Trojan for five decades. Hidealoo – the space-changing toilet mechanism that folds wall-hung toilets away

idealoo is making its debut at the Installer Show 2025 and will be taking part in the show’s PitchFest, where the audience will be voting for the most innovative new product.

H

Hidealoo’s unique retractable wall-hung toilet frame allows any standard wall-hung toilet pan to fold through 90º, making it the ideal solution for optimising toilet installations in small and difficult spaces.

The toilet pan can be discreetly hidden inside a wall or cupboard when not in use and pulled out

when needed. Hidealoo creates a more flexible floor and wall space, providing greater options for installations within homes where adding a new bathroom may not otherwise be possible. Simple to install and maintain, and fitting any standard wall-hung pan, the patented Hidealoo mechanism is precision-engineered in powder-coated steel and designed and tested to British and international standards. It holds up to 400kg in weight and our innovative flexible waste pipe has been tested with over 250,000 continual open and close cycles.

The Hidealoo is now also available with a cabinet designed to house the frame, toilet and plumbing making installation even easier. Stand 4D26 at Installer Show, 24-26 June.
