Kbsa – Keynote speaker announced for KBB Industry Conference
T
he Kbsa has announced that the keynote speaker for the KBB Industry Conference 2024 will be sales trainer and coach, Matt Elwell.
Matt has 22 years’ experience as an entrepreneurial business owner and is co-founder and Director of the Elite Closing Academy. His sales career which includes kitchens, bathrooms and tiles, has ranged from cold calling to successfully negotiating multi six/seven figure contracts in the UK and America.
The Elite Closing Academy offers entrepreneurs, business owners and sales teams, training, coaching and mentoring packages, aimed at increasing sales and helping them grow their businesses. The KBB Industry Conference 2024 takes place at the Belfry Hotel and Resort, West Midlands. It will include the popular retailer dinner the evening before the conference on Tuesday 08 October, with the Kbsa Designer Awards dinner following the conference on the evening of 09 October.

HiB’sWarren Ginsberg awarded with MBE in King’s Honours List 2024
iB’s Chairman Warren Ginsberg has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to home improvements as part of this year’s King’s Honours. This prestigious recognition celebrates Warren’s outstanding contributions to the bathroom industry and his unwavering commitment to the development of home improvements over the decades.

Warren has been a pivotal figure in the bathroom industry for more than 50 years, having begun working as a salesperson at Garfield Glass in London, before moving through the ranks to Sales Director, managing the sales operations in the UK, the Netherlands Germany and France. Upon the sale of Garfield Glass in 1990, Warren set up his own business and in 1991 launched HiB. Under his visionary leadership, HiB has gone from strength to strength and Warren’s dedication to quality and his passion for creating beautiful, functional bathroom products have been instrumental in the company’s success.
Through his working life, Warren has played a huge part in the development of the bathroom interiors and is a renowned and respected figure in the sector. His efforts have not only positioned HiB as a forward- thinking company but have also set new standards in the industry. Among his many successes, Warren has encouraged and supported a number of technological advances including the adaption of the heated pad as a tool for reducing condensation on mirror and cabinet surfaces. This innovation sparked an industry-wide change that has now spread to a manufacturing standard across bathroom mirrors around the globe and remains a key feature to this day.
