Häfele builds customers’ appliance knowledge at King’s Cross event

H

äfele UK recently brought together customers at an event to get

hands-on with some of the latest additions to its appliance range.

Held at Samsung’s Concept Store at King’s Cross, the event enabled guests to find out more about Samsung’s cooking, refrigeration and laundry products, which are available for distribution to the KBB and merchant sectors via Häfele UK. As well as exploring Samsung products, guests were informed about the key services available

from Häfele UK which make it easier to sell appliances to the end user, including readily available stock, fast delivery times, and a dedicated customer support service.

As one of the UK’s largest appliance brands, Samsung has teamed with Häfele on the provision of its major domestic appliances (MDA) to consolidate its market position, taking advantage of Häfele’s expansive, trusted network. The addition of Samsung to its appliance roster further strengthens Häfele’s portfolio, with Smeg,

Rangemaster, Hoover, Candy, Falcon and Mercury products already available through the distributor. Richard Curtis, Managing Director at Häfele UK, said: “Our customers are currently operating in a very challenging environment, working harder than ever to win business. As always our priority is to find ways to support them, providing the innovative products and services they need to operate efficiently and cost-effectively. With our appliance ranges and Häfele’s market leading support, our customers can better concentrate on growing their business.”

Sensio: Leading the Charge in Sustainable Practices A

t Sensio, sustainability is not just a goal but a guiding principle,

influencing every decision we make from concept to creation. By prioritising eco- friendly materials, efficient processes, and responsible sourcing, we’re paving the way for a brighter, greener future.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

Our journey towards sustainability starts with our packaging. We are phasing out plastics, favouring recyclable materials like paper and cardboard. This shift has already resulted in a 90% reduction in plastic packaging for our mirrors and cabinets.

A Greener Workplace

In 2023, we installed 178 solar panels at one of our locations, a significant step towards carbon neutrality. We also boast transitioning our fleet to fully electric with multiple electric vehicle charging stations, powered by our solar panels, reducing our fossil fuel consumption to zero.

Long-Lasting Products

We design our products with longevity in mind. By using high-quality LEDs and ensuring robust construction, our lighting solutions are built to last, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimising waste.
