Have you got what it takes?

Recognising the retailers, brands, people and services that make the industry great, the BKU Awards is a prestigious celebration of achievement and hard work. Entries close on 31st March, so don’t delay!

T

aking place on Thursday 22nd June at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London, the ceremony will be set against a sophisticated South Kensington backdrop. Only a short distance from Gloucester Road underground station, attendees will experience an unforgettable evening of celebration in the buzz of central London.

Entry deadline approaching!

Entering the BKU Awards is about a lot more than just winning an award (although of course it is never a bad thing to have a shiny new trophy for your mantelpiece!). The BKU Awards is a fantastic way to raise the profile of your brand and get your name out there, gaining recognition for all of your hard work whether you are selected as the winner or not. If you are lucky enough to win, a BKU Award represents a stamp of excellence for your brand, attracting the attention of the industry and helping you gain business.

BKU Awards winners are chosen by the vote of the industry, as opposed to a judging panel. Opening up a level playing field ensures small companies will have just as much chance of winning an award as bigger names. As Carl notes: “It’s all about the taking part; the event is a fantastic opportunity to raise your company profile whether you win an award or not. We wish everyone the best of luck!” Each category will have five finalists, offering an increased chance to achieve recognition as a runner up.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this key event recognising the best brands in the bathroom and kitchen industry. Using the free online form at www.bkuawards.co.uk, you can enter your company, an employee or yourself for an award. If you feel that a particular brand has gone above and beyond the norm for quality or service, then you can also nominate other companies and individuals for an award. The deadline for entries is Friday 31st March.

A night to remember

The BKU Awards 2017 promises to be a truly memorable occasion, hosted this year by none other than comedy legend and TV personality Jimmy Carr. One of the biggest names in British comedy, Jimmy Carr is known for his distinctive laugh, deadpan expression and dark one-liners. Never afraid to say exactly what he thinks, Jimmy Carr is bound to have you in fits of laughter. BKU divisional manager Carl Hearnden stated: “We are so excited to have such a big name hosting the awards. It’s going to be a fantastic night!”

Sponsorship of the BKU Awards provides an exciting opportunity to raise brand awareness and generate sales by reaching a targeted, highly engaged audience at this credible and ethical awards ceremony attended by all the key members of the BKU industry. Sponsoring companies will see their name and logo feature prominently throughout the event and its promotional lead-up. Contact Carl Hearnden on chearnden@datateam.co.uk or 01622 199128 for more information.

With categories for retailers, bathroom brands and kitchen brands, the awards recognises everyone from independent retailers to individuals providing outstanding customer service. Tickets include a champagne reception, three-course meal with fine wine, and the chance to see the brilliant Jimmy Carr live. Remember, the deadline for nominations is Friday 31st March, so get your entries in now!
