2020 Technologies, listened to customers across the globe before releasing a new version of 2020 Fusion. The world’s leading provider of applications and enterprise solutions dedicated to interior design, space planning and furniture manufacturing launched Version 5.3 of its design software this winter.
And, designers are being offered the chance to try the new version of 2020 Fusion free for a month. 2020 is continually in dialogue with its customers through the online Fusion community and, following the introduction of the 360° Panorama feature, many designers said that they would like to be able to preview the panorama before sending it to a customer.
Customers also said they wanted to be able to choose the quality level of the panoramic images, with the understanding that a higher quality image would take longer to generate. As a result of this valuable feedback, the latest Fusion Version 5.3 now offers four quality levels rather than the one fixed resolution of previous versions.
Enhanced experience
2020 Fusion combines a smart user interface, cutting-edge technology, and wide selection of manufacturers’ catalogues to provide designers with the most popular CAD (computer-aided design) interior design software in the European market. The latest release of 2020 Fusion v5.3 includes many new features and functions implemented with
time saving specifically in mind, all designed to provide 2020 Fusion users and their customers with a greatly enhanced and more efficient user experience.
“The main theme of Version 5.3 is an improved customer experience, increased speed and optimisation,” explains Craig Rothwell, 2020’s MD. “This builds on the improvements made to Version 4 which made the overall design process quicker and more intuitive.
“The most significant enhancements to the application are in the areas of printing, exporting, movie creation and 360º panorama generation. 2020 Fusion is now able to take advantage of multi- core processing and place these time-consuming tasks in the ‘background’, saving designers a significant amount of time and freeing them up to create or edit other designs in the meantime.” The latest release also further enhances the 360° panorama feature with support for an additional smartphone viewing mode. Designers can provide an immersive experience to their clients by using virtual reality glasses in conjunction with a 2020 Fusion panorama.
Additionally, users can now upgrade to a 64bit variant of 2020 Fusion version 5, thereby taking full advantage of all of the benefits of a 64bit environment.
