The IPG – Trade Local Day Returns with Even More to Look Forward To
independent merchants, bathroom & Kitchen showrooms and the suppliers that work alongside them. Taking place on Wednesday 9th September, Trade Local Day once
T
again brings together The IPG network to celebrate the importance of shopping locally, strengthening relationships between members, suppliers and the trade, while encouraging installers to support independent businesses in their local communities. This year, however, the campaign doesn’t stop at just one day. Throughout September, members and participating suppliers will be part
of an enhanced programme designed to keep customers engaged for longer, creating more opportunities to drive footfall, spark conversations in branch and showroom, and reward loyal trade customers. Supporting the campaign is The IPG App, which continues to play an
increasingly important role in connecting installers with independent members of The IPG. Already home to year-round supplier backed prize draws, the app will be central to this year’s activity, giving tradespeople another reason to engage with their local merchant or bathroom/kitchen showroom throughout September. For members, the extended campaign represents another example of
how The IPG continues to invest in initiatives that help independent businesses compete in an increasingly challenging market. By bringing together members, suppliers and installers under one national campaign, Trade Local Day continues to grow in both scale and impact. More details will be shared over the coming weeks, but one thing is certain - this year’s Trade Local Day is set to be the biggest yet.
